Swim Course
The swim takes place in Vancouver's waterfront with the Coast Mountains as a stunning backdrop. Pacific Northwest water temperatures in August are around 16–19°C. The T100 format features a shorter swim distance designed for intense racing.
Bike Course
The bike course utilises Vancouver's streets and surrounding roads. The T100 circuit format creates close, spectator-friendly racing with the city's spectacular scenery. The combination of urban and waterfront riding with mountain views makes this one of the most visually stunning bike courses on any triathlon circuit.
Run Course
The run showcases Vancouver's waterfront and park system. Stanley Park, the seawall, and mountain views create an extraordinary running environment. The T100 format ensures concentrated crowd support and fast, intense racing.
Race Day Conditions
August in Vancouver offers the city's best weather. Air temperatures range from 16–24°C with low humidity and plenty of sunshine. The Pacific Northwest dry summer season provides ideal racing conditions — comfortable warmth without extreme heat.
Performance starts dropping over 22°C and humidity makes it worse. How heat compounds across the bike and run — and why the bike hides it.
